SandySandy Great set of bags ! love it
Saphill I have the white Specter Cubes. The fabric is not completely opaque which helps me indentify what's in each cube easily without having to open them. I use these for packing a lot. Especially when making short trips for business. I frequently might have just a carry-on or small bag that will be used for work as well as clothes and toiletries, so being able to remove the non-business stuff from a bag in a hurry is great when I have to run to a meeting before checking in to a room. They are also really great for storing off-season stuff (i.e. gloves, mittens, thick winter socks, etc.). I have also used them for organizing yarn and knitting projects both on travel and at home. The only thing I would ask for is additional sizes that are similar to the small and medium cubes, but 1"-2" deeper. That and greater availiblity at my local REI.
Mrs Traveler VERY lightweight, yet sturdy. I'm already a fan of the Eagle Creek pack-it system & have several of their cubes & folders. This time I was searching for a similar product, but lighter for an over-seas trip (since every pound/ounce these days can add up to $$). I was skeptical at first since they are so lightweight so I did a test run on a week long road trip. I over stuffed them on purpose & they held their ground. I knew I had a winner when my husband started singing their praises. In fact, I ended up getting him his own set so he won't steal mine. Love the smaller bag for the "little stuff" in my backpack that can get lost in big bags. Have used them now on several airplane & road trips. Oh, & on last flight I'm sure they helped us avoid extra baggage fees since we had more stuff added to the bag on the return flight. My husband was thrilled when he didn't have to pay extra for a overweight bag. The bags are money well spent!

434Studio If you are traveling by air, something like this is a must. They pay for themselves with one saved checked bag fee. I am able to stuff them to capacity and then compress them further in my carry-on bag, giving me all the space I need for extended trips. They also protect items from dirt, (shoes, dirty cloths, etc.) in your bag. They are very lightweight and the zippers seem to be very sturdy. This is a good investment that could pay for itself with one trip!
Runner 76 I use this when I'm traveling with a duffel bag instead of suitcase, though I think it would work well for suitcase use as well. Usually these are hiking or skiing trips. I used to dig around my duffel looking for stuff and creating such a mess it would take forever to find anything. These cubes have fixed that problem. It makes packing easier and faster. I love the white and green zipper contrast. It's lightweight and even has a handle at the top. At first I was skeptical because it wasnt' super cheap, but... totally worth it.
llilacs13 I was so happy to have purchased these bags for a recent trip where I limited myself to a carry- on. I put nearly all of my clothes in the largest bag, my underwear/ socks/ swimsuits in the mid size, and some electronic cords etc. in the smallest and had room to spare in each. This wasn't business travel and I didn't necessarily care if things got a little wrinkly, so I didn't mind them not zipping all the way around in the slightest. Also it just wasn't a big deal to take things out of the sac, find what I wanted, and put everything else back in there. If you organized items by each sac to being with, it's super easy to find what you need within them.I didn't notice in the store that they also sell these with a compression feature - and I would probably have purchased those instead had I noticed. That said, these are SUPER lightweight, easy to clean, and fairly water resistant. They also were great when I had dirty, sweaty clothes w/o time to wash them at the end of my trip - I just put them all in 1 sac and nothing else in my bag got stinky or dirty. I don't know how I traveled without these before.
basecampbound To be honest, I have owned multiple Eagle Creek Pack-It products in the past. I had some workmanship issues with them, (zippers failing, seems splitting) and they were far too heavy and bulky to be used when your packing style consists of a single carry-on bag. I was thrilled when Eagle Creek came out with this new line. Finally! Someone had developed a durable, stylish, user-friendly and quality line of ultralight packing aids. They are absolutely perfect! These cubes are made of ripstop silnylon, and are durable, stain resistant, and as far as I can tell....waterproof. Accidentally spilling a bottled water on top of one, I was pleasantly surprised to find the contents remained dry. With a zipper that encompasses one entire side, the entire top, and a third of the way down another side, it is very easy to access the contents within the cube. The semi-translucent appearance of the silnylon, (particularly on the white cubes) makes it easy to see the contents as well. The zippers are sturdy, and do not snag or stick. A nifty handle makes taking them out of tightly packed spaces, effortless. These cubes are perfectly sized, and very versatile. On business or personal trips, I use the larger sized cube for clothing that is either folded or rolled. The medium sized cube is excellent for socks/undergarments/light jacket. The smaller cube is a great lightweight way to keep electronic cords/power supplies organized, or for the ladies, to use as a makeup bag. While I purchased these specifically for air travel, I have found that they don't weigh much more than most silnylon stuff sacks. Considering that you have to unpack a stuff sack to get to the contents on the bottom, I decided to use these on my last backpacking trip. They were absolutely perfect, cleaned easily once I returned from my trip, and have now become my go-to system for both air travel as well as extended backpacking trips. I was so impressed, I went back to REI and bought several more!If you need a practical packing system that doesn't add unnecessary bulk or weight - this is the perfect product!
Scooter Dooder Wish these items have a better life span than three months. All three cases have broken in one situation or another. Zipper pulls snapped off one. Big and small case tore at the seam. If you want the Eagle Creek experience of good quality, stay away from the Specter line of products.
Hike All Day This is a great set and seems like good quality. I wanted it for regular travel but decided being able to double for backpack trips was an added plus. The only ding I could give it is the price, but then pick it up with a member 20% off like I did and you're done.
